Day 365: Farewell 2011

December 31, 2011
I really love this photograph. New Year's Eve at Pier 39, and everyone's preparing for midnight. I believe this perfectly captures the essence of the end of the year: bright lights and hope of the new year outshining the darker closing of the current cold and merciless season. It's been an amazing experience keeping this 365, and I hope to continue doing this in 2012. Happy New Year's, thanks for sticking around, and see you all in 2012!

Day 364: Choice Location

December 30, 2011
San Francisco at dusk from the pier. My choice location at which to end the year. Say goodbye, 2011.

Day 363: Fighting Time

December 29, 2011
And the countdown begins for 2012. And my high school friends and I fought the clock during our first real party together. Undoubtedly the highlight of my winter break.

Day 362: Center Piece

December 28, 2011
Pier 39 still has its Christmas tree up! Such a beautiful centerpiece to visit while in the city.

Day 361: Clue Mission

December 27, 2011
I've been planning this for months, and now that my cousin is here, I've stated to place clues all around the house. Hopefully the two can solve everything!

Day 360: Christmas Safari

December 26, 2011
We decided that tonight was a good night to go on a Christmas photo safari. There were some intensely decorated houses around the neighborhood. It really brings the holiday mood around.

Day 359: Mom's Day

December 25, 2011
Christmas was never really about the gift-giving for my family. It was always about celebrating my mom's birthday! Although the cake was already being eaten when I made it to the table.
