Day 208: Mouse Egg

July 27, 2011
My mom found an egg that came in the carton with a paint job, and she said it looks like a mouse. She currently has it on display at the shop.

Day 207: Thousand Pages

July 26, 2011
I'm attempting to finish my second thousand-page book. This book weighs in at a whopping 1074 pages. If I finish this, it joins The Count of Monte Cristo on the over-a-thousand-pages book list, while It awaits its turn to be read.

Day 206: Organic Nightmare

July 25, 2011
For the first time in years, I checked out a book from the Hercules Library. Unfortunately, in the midst of my pleasure reading, I am slowly preparing myself for the uphill battle that is organic chemistry. Hopefully I'll be ready by the time fall semester rolls around.

Day 205: No Money

July 24, 2011
A lack of money is always on my mind. I really should think about getting a job..

Day 204: College Bible

July 23, 2011
After visiting Davis yesterday, we made a pit stop in Vacaville. That eventually brought us to Borders, where we found this awesome book called F in Exams: The Very Best Totally Wrong Test Answers. My friend and I had to get this, so we split it. I haven't laughed this hard in a while.

Day 203: Good Eats

July 22, 2011
Spent the day with a friend whom I haven't seen in months. Sushi in Davis, shopping in Vacaville, and boba at Ranch 99. I swear, all-you-can-eat sushi is the best thing ever invented. Spicy tuna hand roll, mmm.

Day 202: Happy Place

July 21, 2011
I don't think even the "Happiest Place on Earth" could make me feel better. It's me against the world; I've been such an irritated wreck lately.

Day 201: Sour Munchies

July 20, 2011
I used to love eating these as a kid, but Costco discontinued these from their warehouses. I was heartbroken. But the same sour belts have made it back into the house. Happy day.

Day 200: Pure Memories

July 19, 2011
My 200th post. Coincidentally, today was the same day my photo order came in the mail. 99 prints representing pure memories from years past. Exactly what this blog is supposed to do.

Day 199: Midnight Salvation

July 18, 2011
Kimchi ramen, a midnight specialty. It never fails as a full meal, or as a snack for us starving college kids.

Day 198: Summer Fantasies

July 17, 2011
Sweet little bumblebee, more than just a fantasy~
It would be nice if at least one of my summer fantasies would come true.

Day 197: Wishful Thinking

July 16, 2011
It's summer, but we're all cooped up inside because of the weather. I think there's something fundamentally wrong with that.

Day 196: Mysterious Art

July 15, 2011
My family has had this painting for as long as I can remember. I was always curious about it. We don't really have a legitimate affiliation with the Wild West (horses and cowboys and such). And it doesn't particularly look like an expensive painting..

Day 195: No Lie

July 14, 2011
No lie, though. The midnight premiere was pretty epic. And I loved the movie.

Day 194: Harry Potter

July 13, 2011
The premiere is fast approaching. "...Neither can live while the other survives.."

Day 193: White Rose

July 12, 2011
This tissue rose is from my seventh grade Valentine's Day, the only Valentine's Day when I was "taken." I'm quite surprised that this is still around, considering how long it's been.

Day 192: Bomb Project

July 11, 2011
During freshman year, my English group tackled a live-action Mario storyline for a video project. Needless to say, it was epic, with Nerf gun fights in the Hanna Ranch library, running around the playground late into the night, and using life-size props of Goombas and Bob-Ombs. They currently occupy the back wall of my sister's bedroom, haha.

Day 191: Unknown Earring

July 10, 2011
I woke up today with an earring. It's the weirdest place to get a scab, I think. And it just had to be my right ear..

Day 190: Road Trip

July 9, 2011
On this day last year, I was furiously packing for my week-long road trip to SoCal (to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Universal Studios; our own grad trip). A year has now passed and I miss it more than anything. A week with my best friends at the Happy Place on Earth. What more could I have asked for?

Day 189: With Caution

July 8, 2011
Yes, I own "Caution" tape. It's from the one Color War Rally that I bothered to dress up for. Oh, the irony.

Day 188: Lucky Sevens

July 7, 2011
Today was all about the lucky sevens! As of this afternoon at four in the afternoon, our car had traveled exactly 77,777 miles. On 7/7/11, too.

Day 187: Noise Pollution

July 6, 2011
Oh, you know. Just camping out until the vacuums are put away.

Tuesday, July 5, 2011

Day 186: Rush Fund

July 5, 2011
Since I'm not currently employed or taking classes this summer, I have to apply for scholarships and grants to help pay for school. It's a feeding frenzy, basically. I really don't want to end up taking a gap year..

Day 185: July Fourth

July 4, 2011
Although I'm not exactly sure why, my mom put this puzzle together and put it on our second fridge years back. Funny place to put a puzzle, I think. Happy Independence Day, America. God bless.

Day 184: Sun Bath

July 3, 2011
She really likes to bask in the sun. But we can't let her do it for too long. It's so cute though!

Sunday, July 3, 2011

Day 183: Pokémon Obsession

July 2, 2011
Spending the night catching up on Pokemon. I've been doing this since I was six years old, and it absolutely never gets old. After all these years, I'm still striving to be a Pokemon Master.

Day 182: Berkeley Nights

July 1, 2011
I am now at the halfway point of this blog! I spent the evening hiking up to the Big C in Berkeley and watching the sun set with some close friends. Then we proceeded to eat dinner and run around campus before heading back home. Late night adventures all the way!
