My friends and I visited Hilltop Mall (for me it was the first time in a very long time) to look for Halloween costumes (still). Everything is still very much the same, except I don't ever remember there being a carousel there..

My friend and I grabbed Cream for a late night snack after Elevate rehearsal. White chocolate macadamia nut cookies with vanilla ice cream. Only my second time since its opening, but it does enough to satisfy a sweet tooth.

We wrapped up retreat with a Sproul at Yogurtland, and more rehearsals for our West Coast A cappella song set. Overall a pretty amazing experience. Can't wait for more fun times with AiR!

The first night was, for lack of a better word, crazy. Cookies, karaoke, and endless giggles. And at the Gu manor, no less. Great place, I think, to hold a retreat.

To start off AiR retreat, a couple of us went to Boiling Crab for lunch! Amazing stuff; a pound of shrimp with some Cajun fries. I was full all day.

Today the lab focused on recrystallization, so basically we were making crystals the entire lab. I definitely like o-chem a lot better than I did gen-chem. 

Day 277: OB DinnAiR

Two friends from AiR and I had dinner at OB Town (one had never been there). The food is so good here, and we even got an dish on the house! We're working on bonding and creating a strong group dynamic, so this definitely helped. Great night, can't wait to have more of these, and can't wait for retreat! 

Day 276: Organic Chemistry

Had my first o-chem midterm today, and it was surprisingly not that bad. I know I aced the problem with these staggered/eclipsed Newman projections. But then again, I won't know until I get my actual test back. 

Day 275: Rock Band

I leave the house for two hours and I come back to see my sheets have been changed completely. I guess it's good living at home, but I'm not sure about this rock band theme. 

Day 274: In Resonance

Spent the day with AiR in San Francisco for a gig. Roamed Japan Town after performing at a wedding reception, followed by an impromptu performance and dinner at a Japanese restaurant. Proceeded to party it up in Berkeley; a perfect way to end the night. I'm excited for retreat next week!

Sometimes you just have to be able to say you're done. A burn out is imminent when everything becomes too much. But then again, this printer has been "done" for the past two months..
