| February 24, 2011 Thursday nights, my busiest - and most fun-filled - night of the week. This was taken during my fairy tales DeCal; basically we watch Disney movies and compare trends in culture and whatnot, in relation to the original texts. Tonight was all about "Robin Hood." As discussed in class, seeing bits of stereotypical American aspects in a purely and originally British story is a little mind blowing. Never did I expect to be dissecting Disney movies the way I am now. |
